Step 01

Getting comfortable

At every session & wedding, I make every effort possible to put you at ease, get you laughing, & truly just enjoying the experience of getting your photos taken. I know how awkward it can feel being in front of the lens, so I do my best to make it a fun and laidback experience!

Step 02

Being your beautiful selves

From there, its my job to sit back & capture the beauty that unfolds before me! I will direct you through fun & interactive poses as you enjoy each other to help draw out raw moments with real emotion.

Step 03

Editing your photos

I always send you sneak peeks within 24-48 hours of your session so you have something to tide you over until I am able to edit the rest of your session & send it your way!

Step 04

Choosing memories to treasure

I will send you a finished gallery with all the best images from your session, fully edited & ready for download! From there you get to share your images with friends, make a photo album or hang them on the walls in your home, using the print shop that is connected directly to your gallery, making the process streamlined and stress-free!

Here are the most frequently asked questions.

  • Can I edit my photos?
    No. Please do not add additional edits or Instagram filters to your images. All photos are hand edited by me. Clare Pursch Photography retains all copyright and may use images for marketing and portfolio purposes.
  • Do you collect a deposit?
    Yes, a 50% non refundable booking retainer fee is due, along with a signed contract, in order for your session to be secured on my calendar. Contact me for more information about the cost for a wedding retainer fee!
  • Do you offer mini sessions?
    Yes I do, but only during certain times of year, typically Fall & Winter, sometimes Spring. Otherwise, I only offer full sessions.
  • Can I share my images online?
    Absolutely! I love seeing your images online! Tagging me is not a requirement, but definitely makes me happy and helps with word of mouth!
  • How are my images delivered?
    Your images will be delivered in an online gallery from which you can download & print your images from directly.
  • Do you have a studio?
    Unfortunately I do not. I always find the location that will fit you best!
  • Is it okay if we bring our pet to our session?
    Absolutely! They are family too! I do encourage that you bring a friend along with you to hang out with your pet for any pictures/poses that don't include them so they are not alone.
  • What should we wear to our session?
    It is super hard to figure out what to wear to a session! I am happy to help -- Just shoot me an email!
  • Will I receive sneak peeks after my session?
    Yes! I do my best to get sneak peeks sent to you 24-48 hours after your session, I also typically share them on my Facebook or Instagram.
  • What if it is raining or I need to reschedule my session?
    Life happens and weather is a huge factor in getting the photos you want! We can absolutely reschedule, I just ask that you do your best to give me some advance notice if you are needing to reschedule.
  • When do sessions typically take place?
    I typically plan for sessions to start 1-2 hours before sunset to get the most ideal lighting! In home newborn sessions start around 10:00am is possible.
